Creative Support Sponsored Climb of Scafell Pike

Hi Everyone! Creative Support is a not-for-profit national charity supporting over 5,000 adults with learning disabilities, physical needs, and mental health challenges across England.

Creative Support has a total of 27 Extra Care Services across the country and each of these services supports around 40 – 50 older individuals living in their own apartment. In 2023, we successfully raised over £5,000 to fund life-saving defibrillators for 11 Extra care services in London. This year, we are aiming even higher, with a goal to raise £10,000 to provide defibrillators for our remaining 16 Extra Care services across the UK (including 2 new ones in London that started in 2024).

Each year, around 30,000 people in the UK experience a sudden cardiac arrest, and survival rates increase dramatically from 6% to 74% when a defibrillator is used within 3 minutes. Every penny raised will go directly towards funding these vital devices for our vulnerable clients.

To support this cause, a group of 11 colleagues will be climbing England’s highest mountain (Scafell Pike) on Saturday 28th June 2025. Any donation, big or small, would make a huge difference and mean so much to us, especially in these challenging times.
