Hi, my name is Heidi, and I have started this fundraiser on behalf of my husband.

Wyatt and I are currently in a long distant relationship due to visa costs. We’ve been working hard this entire year to close this gap, but it’s proved to be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done.

I am currently disabled due to a chronic illness, because of this I am unable to work. I receive small payments from the government only enough to afford necessities.

My husband, Wyatt, has spent the better half of this year studying and searching for jobs.

Where he lives jobs are hard to come by and competition is fierce, employment rates are low and even most dish washer jobs require a high school certificate.

He currently has a part time job in retail, but shifts are rare and he’s only offered a few hours a couple times a month.

He has no family and is currently in a state of starvation. We have tried food banks and churches but his body is still deteriorating. He continues to lose pounds each day and is now only 118 pounds (53 kg) as a 6’2 man.

His energy is depleting and as he lives in America, there are no options for him to get external help, from independent parties or the government.

And that is why I finally decided to make this GoFund. This was truly our last resort, but I am at a loss of what to do or how to help other than trying to reach out to the community, to all of you amazing people who have read this far, and ask for your help.

All funds will be going towards food, visa costs and medical bills.
