Support Brandon's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
On May 12th, our friend and the heart and soul of Altered State Comics was admitted to the hospital with intense abdominal pain. After a series of tests, doctors discovered a mass in his abdomen. While surgery successfully removed the growth, it was confirmed to be malignant. Further tests revealed that the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes.
Brandon now faces a challenging road ahead, including chemotherapy treatments that will require strength, time, and of course the occasional break from the day-to-day operations of Altered State (even though he'll still make himself work more than he needs to).
Why We Need Your Help
Brandon isn’t just a business owner. He’s the face you see every day when you walk into Altered State Comics. For the past four years, he’s poured his heart into making our shop a haven for fans of comics, wrestling, music, and movies. He’s not just the guy behind the counter—he’s the reason our dream exists.
But with treatment on the horizon, Brandon will be unable to work the same long hours he’s always given so selflessly. And as a small business owner, any time away from the store is a financial hit for him and his family.
How Your Donation Will Help
All funds raised will go directly toward:
Brandon’s medical bills and cancer treatment
Keeping Altered State Comics open and running during his recovery
Supporting Brandon and his family during this incredibly difficult time
A Cornerstone of Community
If you’ve ever stopped by the shop, you know Brandon. You’ve probably shared a conversation about where WWE booking has gone astray or picked up an issue he went out of his way to track down or witnessed firsthand how deeply he cares about every person who walks through our door.
Now it’s our turn to support him.
Please donate if you can, and share this campaign with others. Whether it’s $5 or $500, every bit helps ease the burden Brandon is facing—and brings us closer to keeping both his health and his dream intact.
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
