<div>On May 12th, our friend and the heart and soul of Altered State Comics was admitted to the hospital with intense abdominal pain. After a series of tests, doctors discovered a mass in his abdomen. While surgery successfully removed the growth, it was confirmed to be malignant. Further tests revealed that the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes.

<div>Brandon now faces a challenging road ahead, including chemotherapy treatments that will require strength, time, and of course the occasional break from the day-to-day operations of Altered State (even though he'll still make himself work more than he needs to).
