16 year old Victor has just lost his beloved mum. The two of them have been a tight knit team since Sandra escaped a very problematic marriage when Victor was four years old.

In mid January of this year, Sandra was feeling hopeful in anticipation of a desperately needed liver transplant. Sadly she was deemed not strong enough to survive the procedure as both her liver and kidneys were rapidly failing.

Victor now finds himself alone and isolated in regional NSW, in a town he has lived in for just 12 months, having moved more than 8 times in his young life.

Thankfully Victor has a small group of dedicated family and friends, including from overseas and interstate, banding together to ensure he is cared for in a stable and loving home for his final years of school and his transition into adulthood.

To make this happen, we need to protect Victor against the financial burden of funeral costs, outstanding payments, interstate relocation and the creation of a beautiful and safe space for Victor (and his cat Memphis) with his new foster family.
