Hi,
I wanted to let all of you know how thankful we are for your generous donations to Jessica and her family. These will help her stay focused on the task at hand, fighting her Cancer!
I have never done a personal fund raiser for anyone on gofundme, and the generosity is heart warming. As a novice I realized that although the money donated will help, our goal needed to be much higher. She is going through
months of chemo, surgery and then follow up chemo or radiation.
She is determined to beat this, and with our financial help it will mean the world to them.
So please donate any amount you can every $20 adds up. She recently walked, in the Susan G Koman walk. She took her children and her family and her husband, and walked 3 miles. We all crossed the finish line together and that’s what it takes to find a cure in the ugly world of cancer.
Thanks again.

ORIGINAL POST BELOW
My name is Julie and I have created this page for my niece and her family as she fights for her life with Breast Cancer.
A little background on her situation, first and foremost she is a wife to Cole and a mother to Teagan (3 yrs old) and Hayden (4 months old). Jessica found a mass in her breast before her baby was 6 weeks old. She was diagnosed when Hayden was just 8 weeks old.
This was the worst possible news at a time in Jessica's life when this should have been the happiest time with the birth of her new baby girl. Having just turned 31, Cancer was not something she, nor our family can wrap our heads around. As some of you know her father is my brother, Gary Vermillion, and to say he is devastated is not even close.
Cole, Jessica's husband, is a FTO Firefighter Paramedic. He is an amazing father and dedicated public servant who loves his wife. But no one prepared him for this. They are in this together and are in need of our help. Jessica was laid off from her job while on maternity leave and is currently interviewing in between rounds of chemo and devastating side effects that are ravaging her body. I consider her one of the bravest young women I know. She still has that million dollar smile and can light up a room.
Her treatment is long as her cancer is very aggressive, but caught early. The monetary help that we could give her would be one less thing she has to worry about while fighting this battle. She was very brave last week as Cole shaved her head, they told their 3 year old the hair fairy needed it for someone else.......
Our goal is $3,100 for her age, and anything will help.
Lets make a difference in this young couples life by supporting them in this battle and show them the world is a good and loving place with kindness and caring alive and well.
Please keep her in your prayers. With her strength and the help of God she will beat this.
Love to All, and prayers to everyone affected by the BIG C.
Thanks for reading,
Jessica's Aunt
