Fired LunchLady Who Gave Free Lunch
Donation protected
Let's show this lunch lady with a heart that we care that she cared! She lost her job for giving a hot lunch to a 12 year old girl at school that said she was hungry and didn't have the money to pay for it. Even though Dalene offered to pay for it, they fired her instead!
Let's pay it forward this holiday season and honor good behavior instead of chastizing it!
Here are some of the stories I read about this so you can verify it yourself before you pledge:

What a horrible thing to lose your job at any time, but for doing the right thing during the holidays is even worse!
She lost her job for giving away $1.70 worth of food to a hungry child - what can you give up?
Thank you!
PS. I received an email just now from GoFundMe suggesting I add some additional data to this introduction. I am the Owner and Broker of Progressive Realty in Boise, Idaho. Even though I do not list and sell real estate in Pocatello where Dalene lives, her story hit a nerve with me so that is why I set this up for her. The money donated through this site will be spent at her discretion by Dalene this holiday season. I was not aware that she had also set up a GoFundMe account. If you choose to donate to that one instead, it is:

I have sent Dalene a message on her account asking her if she wants me to take this one down or leave it up since it is getting lots of momentum and is only going to be distributed to her. I don't gain anything personally from it other than living by the words of Edmund Burke 'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.'
