Hi we are the 96th class with Oshawa Fire Services. Myself along with the other recruit firefighters are looking to raise money through a car wash for the YWCA. The YWCA has been in the community since 1945. The Y’s wish is a shelter for abused women and children . They have the Adelaide house which is a second stage housing facility for abused women. In addition they have interim housing which is a program for single homeless women and they offer supportive housing for at risk women and children.
