Miller Family Expenses

Erik Miller died on May 20, 2022 after a three-year illness that devastated his family. He leaves behind his wife, Emily, and his 8-year-old daughter, Elena. They're both crushed, worried about the future, and unable to fathom life without Erik.

 

Elena hasn't taken her dad's bracelet off since he died, and the bereavement process will be a long road for both of them.

 

Colorectal cancer is a terrible, awful disease that steals your strength, your ability to control your own body, and your financial resources. Emily is not the kind of person to ask for help, but we would like to ask friends, family, and the broader community to rally around the Miller family and help ease the financial burden they face.

 

Emily is overwhelmed by medical bills, final expenses, and the loss of the family's primary source of income. Her most immediate need is to pay for interment and a memorial for Elena to visit as they both work through their profound grief. Any remaining funds will be put toward outstanding bills and upcoming expenses for Elena's education.

 

The Miller family story is one of passion, joy, love, and support — for each other and the people in the world around them. This tragedy is an unfathomably painful chapter in their story. It will take time for their broken hearts to heal.
