Hello,

As you know, my sister Christine lost the love of her life, suddenly this week.

She is overwhelmed with the love and messages she has received. She is unable to respond at this time but I can tell you, it has given her, and our family great comfort.

John, after recovering from major heart surgery was doing amazing. Everything went to plan and was 6 weeks into recovery. He was feeling great and was back being active - something he loved!

Unfortunately, John suffered a catastrophic brain hemorrhage on Tuesday 22nd July. He was under great care from the staff at the Glasgow Royal who done everything they could. We will be forever grateful for the support they provided to John and his family. John tragically passed away on Friday 25th of July with his one true love, and family by his side.

John was only 57 years old. We never had any arrangements in place to help with such a loss.

We ask the family, friends or anyone who knew John, if possible, to contribute. No matter how small, this will massively help my sister through the next phase of her journey.

Again, I cant thank you all enough for messages, memories, photos etc. We even managed to laugh amongst the tears.
