Towards funeral costs

UPDATE......

Been told the day 06/08/2025 that my dad now has only a few weeks left. He was ment to start chemo tomorrow 06/08/2025 but has been told today that chemo could possibly kill him has his kidney isnt functioning well and can not fight off the toxins. There is no more treatment available to him. So got to make the most of the time we have left. So if you could spare anything please. It would be a great help.

Hi, my name is Sammy. I am fund raising on behalf of my dad David Steward. Many people will know him from rugby, he has followed Leigh leopards since i was little. Up until last week (17th July) he was driving coaches to the away games.

My dad has struggled since 2018 with cancer, he has had his bladder, uratic pipe, kidney, prostate all removed due to it. He was ment to have surgery on his remaining kidney last year but couldn't due to having a goitre on his windpipe as he wouldn't survive the kidney operation. He was ment to have rhat surgery on new years eve 2024 but kept getting put back, fast forward to may 2025 and he finally had it done. His next appointment was on the 27th June. My dad thought he was going to be told when he can have his kidney surgery, but no, he was diagnosed with aggressive liver cancer, woth the prognosis that he may not survive until christmas. This has come as a huge shock to us all as my dad was never tested for liver cancer. Turns out they suspected it in February but failed to tell him. Also as his goitre operation was put back 4 times, this may have resulted in my dad now having a death sentence. We are looking to raise money towards giving him a really good send off. Anything you can spare would be a great help.
