This fundraiser is an invitation to invest in a permanent community space, fire, a hearth, around which we can gather and heal to co-hold space together, and have somewhere sacred to commune, nourish and support all we are holding, individually and collectively.
A gathering point for deep, immersive work rooted in ancient lineages through initiated custodial knowledge holders, to help bridge ancestral healing of individuals, land and family; a place to navigate the complexities of what it means to be human in these times, and to learn ways to walk strongly with ancient connection, in this modern world, to develop tools, share, learn, train - and pass on to our children, so they, too, may be supported to navigate their future world. A continuation of a legacy left by the ancients on protection and preservation of what is good and true, and ways to walk in truth and harmony.
The goal is to purchase an 18-22 ft yurt that would fit 10-12 people. A friend will collect and construct the yurt and fit the felt lining, raised wooden floor and wood burner. Although these things add to the initial cost they ensure that the space can be used year round and will stay insulated and warm in colder months. A more detailed cost breakdown is included below.
A location has been confirmed for the yurt to be constructed in a beautiful spot in the southern English countryside surrounded by mighty oaks and wild life.
This project will provide a space to periodically dive into all manner of healing concerned with the issues we as humans are experiencing in these times, empower in one’s innate unique medicine, connect to ancient ways of ancestral knowledge & healing, retrieve/reclaim one’s voice through the power of ancient song and memory. Custodial permission and endorsement for this work is extended from elders representing clans of Indigenous Australia, India, Africa and connected lines of the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. This can be a space to gather ceremonially as women in sacred circle, as well as men and mixed groups, for diverse modalities of healing and teaching within the container of the facilitator present.
For women’s business, the vision is to open up a space for recreating something of the old ways of women's ground, women's ceremony, to empower us in these challenging modern times. Work of this kind has been held discreetly on these lands at different times spanning over a decade, and now is the time to root and build upon this in more rhythmic cycles within a permanent held structure. This will help to nourish and protect and deepen the teachings even more, as well as making accessible to more good people who need support in these turbulent times.
The space will also be extended and open to welcome gatherings for men and mixed groups to also take part in this sacred work.
Huge gratitude to those who have generously hosted us in their houses and on their land in the past. Many of us have sat together online or in
person and dreamed of a semi-permanent, safe space to do this sacred work.
Please share this invitation with our brothers and sisters and those who are able to support and contribute to this fundraiser.
With Gratitude,
The Remote Dreaming Team
