Help Our Beloved Crossing Guard, Melinda

Our community is coming together to support someone who gives so much to us every single day, our beloved crossing guard, Melinda.

Melinda was recently hit by a driver who did not have insurance, and her car was completely totaled. Thankfully, she is okay, but she has been left without reliable transportation through no fault of her own. This has created a huge and unexpected burden for someone who already gives so selflessly to our community.

Every school day, Melinda is out there rain or shine, making sure our children get to and from school safely. She greets everyone with a smile, knows the kids by name, and somehow manages to make mornings brighter and afternoons happier. The kids absolutely adore her and so do the parents. She isn’t just doing a job; she’s creating a sense of safety, kindness, and joy that our community relies on.

Melinda is always smiling, always positive, and always putting others first. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Funds raised will go directly toward helping Melinda replace her car and cover related expenses so she can get back on her feet and continue doing what she loves, keeping our kids safe.
