Hi, my name is Jermesha and I have a 1 year old daughter named janaya. I live with my mum and my little brother, but my mums boyfriend is always around. I have a cake business, the money I earn from it goes towards providing for my daughter. My mum stops me from baking and says I can’t use her cooker and other stuff in the kitchen. My mum is really abusive, she’s always shouting and disrespecting me and also threatens me a lot. My mums boyfriend also gets involved and verbally abuses me too. I want to move on with my life and it feels like she just pulls me back. I don’t want to bring up my daughter In an abusive household. My mum scares my daughter and she gets distressed easily. I’m currently staying at a friends house as I have no where to stay. I have no money as my mum has took my passport and I’m not able to withdraw it. I’m struggling to provide for my daughter janaya.
