Jonathan & James Roseboom Jr: Our father passed away suddenly on September 23rd, 2025 and rather than have us say something, we'd like our younger stepbrother Luis to speak about him.

Luis Batista: My brother’s dad passed away. I don’t really have any memory of mine but, the man I call my dad not by blood; but the man who saw me and would always introduce me like “this is my kid.” The first time I heard that I remember just rolling with the punches but it wasn’t until later that it hit me. This man saw me and considered me his own and after awhile I considered him mine. My brothers and I are trying to figure out what needs doing cause this is kind of new for us. But any help for funeral costs and prayers would go along way. Thank you

We will have the funeral/wake on Saturday, October 4th at 11am-12pm for a private screening for the FAMILY. 12pm-1pm is when the GENERAL PUBLIC - friends and such - may arrive. There will be service from 1pm-2pm as well.

This is right by where my dad lived. You can drive, take a bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal - Times Square (42nd Street), or take a train (Acala/Amtrak/Regional) from Penn Station (34th Street) to get there.
