Help Build the 'Garden of Hope' at Sunnybrook!
Tax deductible
Hello, friends!
Sunnybrook Children's Home is partnering with Linda Watson, a 15-year-old Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 1475 in Clinton, MS. As part of her Eagle Scout project, she is creating the 'Garden of Hope', a butterfly and prayer garden for the our transitional youth at Sunnybrook.
Why This Project Matters
Sunnybrook is home to amazing foster teens who are overcoming incredible challenges. As someone whose family has fostered 14 children over the years, Linda has seen firsthand the struggles these youth face. She reached out to us because she wanted to give our residents at Sunnybrook something special—a peaceful space to reflect, find hope, and experience the beauty of nature. Now, we are extending this opportunity to all of you -- who share Linda's desire to build something beautiful for young adolescents in need of hope.
Your financial support helps sow seeds of hope, together with Linda!
What the Garden Will Include
Located just outside the Sunnybrook Education Center, the 'Garden of Hope' will feature:
✅ Native butterfly plants to symbolize transformation and new beginnings
✅ Benches for quiet reflection
✅ A prayer area for encouragement and peace
✅ Wind chimes & bird baths to create a tranquil atmosphere
✅ Handcrafted stepping stones with inspirational messages
How You Can Help
Linda and her Eagle Scout Troop need $1,250 to make this dream a reality! The entire troop is stepping up to give Linda a hand in completing the construction of her butterfly garden. Your donation will help cover the costs of plants, soil, mulch, benches, and other materials. Any extra funds will go toward adding even more beautiful features to the garden.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference!
Be a Part of Something Special
This project isn’t just about planting flowers—it’s about planting hope in the hearts of foster teens who need it most. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your friends and family.
Thank you for supporting the 'Garden of Hope' and helping bring encouragement, peace, and transformation to the youth at Sunnybrook!
