Baby Lukas

My cousin Kelly Carlton is expecting her first child! His name will be Lukas Nathaniel Carlton and we are all over the moon excited :) Unfortunately, Kelly and Lukas have not had an easy journey so far. Kelly ppromed at 19 weeks gestation, for those who are not familiar basically her water broke, and she went to the hospital. Doctors suggested terminating baby Lukas but Kelly refused. They waited for her body to go into labor. She is now 25 weeks and baby Lukas is still waiting to be born! She has fluid fluctuating and will be admitted to Vanderbilt tomorrow morning for the duration of her pregnancy. Kelly has been on bedrest and unable to work for the past 6 weeks, and it will be a while before she will be able to return to work. As a 2 person house hold already living week to week, their financial situation is very dire now. Medical expenses, baby gear, rent, car payments...it all adds up. I am asking for any help to raise money for this little growing family in their time of need. Thank you!  ***UPDATE!!***  Lukas was born 11 weeks early on August 8th 2015.  He was 2 Lbs 13 Oz and such a little fighter!  He was immediately intubated and was on the highest powered vent for several weeks.  He was then weaned to a regular vent, then to cpap, then to Vapotherm.  He remained on the Vapotherm for several months and was finally placed on wall oxygen just a few weeks ago.  He is expected to be discharged from the hospital on December 7th!  That will make exactly 5 months of hospitals for both Mom and Dad and be just 1 day shy of Lukas' 4 month birthday!  This family is still in serious financial need, because lets face it, hospitals are expensive, being an hour and a half away from home is expensive, having a newborn is expensive, and to top it all off the house they were living in flooded two days before Kelly was admitted to the hospital and was not repaired by the landlords...so moving is also expensive.  Lukas will be going home on oxygen so they will also have the added expense of paying for the medical equipment that is not covered by insurance, which turns out to be a lot of little things that add up to quite a bit.  Bills have been piling up since May and they have been told that Lukas is not to attend daycare because of his small and underdeveloped lungs any minor cold or illness could land him back in the hospital and possibly on life support.  Living off one income is the only way to avoid that so it looks like Kelly will be unable to return to work for some time.  They are excited to be home for Christmas, but worried about how all of this added debt and reduced income will all work out.
