Bring the BitCube to Playa!

Donation protected
We had this crazy idea just two months ago: what if we create a climbable, 3-story, generative light-art installation on the playa? We call it the BitCube. It’s made of 100% recycled IBC totes (those water cubes you’ve probably seen all over the playa). Each cube has its own addressable LED light, and the entire thing becomes a 3D, generative light display, programmed by artists in our community and AI. We’ve already got it synced to music, and we’re working on other interactivity. Oh, and we made a door so you can go inside it

We’ve sourced the lights and the cubes, figured out the logistics, done the engineering, put together the team to build it, and we’re ready to go. Now, we need 50k to secure the cubes and equipment, another 20k to get it to playa, and we’re hoping that we can pay for our artists’ tickets as well.

Please donate what you can. Even a few dollars would help.

We’ve got some great swag—stickers, t-shirts and exclusive VIP tickets to our BitCube fundraiser event in San Francisco.

If you’re interested in volunteering, we could use some physical support on the playa to make this happen—hit us up.

See you in the ‘Cube!
