Hi, my name is Whitney.
A lot is going on in the world right now and we need a night of just fun, laughter, conversation, and hanging out! I'm gathering a group of my lovely friends to get together and help me do it! I'll be broadcasting live at https://www.youtube.com/user/whitneyiskorean at 10PM EST.
I'm hoping to raise at least $1000 to split between the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund and the LGBTQ Freedom Fund.
-The NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Education Fund focuses on issues of education, voter protection, economic justice and criminal justice. They encourage students to embark on careers in the public interest through scholarship and internship programs. They also pursue racial justice to move our nation toward a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.

-The LGBTQ Freedom Fund aims to post bail to secure the release and safety of tens of thousands of LGBTQ people that are held in jail or immigration detention (for immigration status or charges like sleeping in public). They also raise awareness of the epidemic of LGBTQ over-incarceration.
