Want to join me in making a difference right here in our community?
I'm raising money to benefit YouthZone, As some of you may already know Youth Zone didn't receive a $20,000 grant from the city of Glenwood this year. That money went elsewhere in the valley but Youth Zone has such a big job to do in our community! They need our help.
We have a great start of about $6000 already! We need another 280 people to invest $50 each and we'll have recovered the grant amount they didn't get!
Their programs include counseling, deferred sentence and juvenile diversion, substance abuse intervention and education, community service, restorative justice and on and on. We ALL benefit from their work whether it's just a better and healthier community or saving tax payor dollars by early intervention when things get tough for kids and families.
