Youth Of Ahlulbayt

By the youth, for the youth. That was the foundation on which we built our charity. Established less than a month ago with your help and support, we managed to cater for all the Majlis in Manchester during the days of Ashura. Taking inspiration from our beloved Imam Hussain (as) and the values he stood for, our organisation aims to transcend race, culture and politics. With your help, we amassed an incredible amount of donations and set about coming up with ways to take the burden off the Majalis organisers, and to help provide an all round experience for every single person who attended a majlis for Aba AbdAllah, regardless of location. We began by organising the distribution of thawab (Niyyaz) by making Mahalabi, as well as the traditional Arab food for Muharram, Qeema, and coming up with interactive information packs for children and books regarding the story of Ashura. Our aim is to inspire and motivate the next generation in the service of Imam Hussain, thus this charity was not just built off monetary donations; many brothers and sisters gave up their valuable time to help us cook, pack, distribute and reach as many people as we could. This charity is now opening its doors beyond the holy months of Muharram and Safar, we aim to build and increase our reach further out from Manchester and its’ localities, as such we have set up this page to keep you up to date with where your donations are going. All highlights from Ashur will be going on our stories and highlights soon InshAllah - we urge you to please watch and share.
