We are raising money to provide an engaging and FREE Youth Literacy & Belonging Summer Adventure Camp ☀️ in the Highland Heights community near Trinity Community Commons. Any donation will help make an impact for our families in need. Thank you so much!

Trinity Community Commons Mission: To show radical hospitality to all people, restoring connections between neighbors and a sense of belonging within our community by utilizing an old church building as a hub for community connection and action. We hope to further this mission in Summer 2024 through welcoming young people to join our FREE Literacy & Belonging Adventure Camp!

⭐️Please help us reach our goal of raising funds to provide a 2 week, 8 day Summer Camp in July 2024! This camp will be focused on Literacy and Social Emotional Learning while fostering belonging through fun and engaging activities.⭐️

Why Literacy and Belonging?

Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space for kiddos during Summer vacation where students feel empowered in their literacy skills. Unfortunately only ⅓ of TN students are proficient readers by 3rd grade. We feel strongly that all kids deserve the right to learn how to read and to feel they belong as these are key components of living a healthy, happy and fulfilled life. We hope our camp will help knit our community closer together so all can find belonging.

Your donation will go towards the funding the supplies, food, games etc. required to operate this program! If you have extra children’s books, craft supplies, packaged snacks, outdoor games we are gladly accepting in-kind donations as well! If you are interested in sharing your time or skills with us we have several different volunteer opportunities email us for more info :)

Thank you for helping Trinity Commons restore Connection and Belonging in East Nashville ❤️
