Youth equipping and empowerment

Many children are not given access to extracurricular activities and community groups that are tailored to their unique needs—programmes that offer love, support, and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. This lack of access is often one of the reasons why some young people, feeling unsupported and overlooked, are drawn into a life of crime. Without meaningful alternatives, many miss out on discovering the greatness within them—greatness that could positively impact their communities and any environment they step into.

At We Are Youth Empowerment, we are passionate about changing that narrative. We are raising funds to run a series of impactful and inspiring sessions for young people aged 8-18. Our programmes combine academic support with personal development, offering high-quality Maths, English, and Science tuition alongside mentorship and a range of exciting extracurricular activities. These include music lessons, choir, dance, media and sound technician training, and drama—all designed to engage young minds, build confidence, and nurture talent in a safe, positive environment.

We believe that every child should have the chance to discover and grow their skills, talents, and gifts, no matter their background. That’s why every session we run includes a hot, healthy, and tasty meal—because we know learning and creativity thrive when young people are well-nourished and cared for.
