San Diego teens Aisha and Katelynn are working tirelessly with SanDiego350 to grow and build the power of the SD county youth climate movement. Approximately 150 local youth have joined our fight for a livable future. With so many youth involved, we strive to provide each of these students with the resources and education they need to make a difference. In order to accomplish that, we will need your help!
Good news: Thanks to a generous supporter, every donation will be matched!
Within the past 6 months, SanDiego350 youth have:
--Hosted a climate action summit, with over 50 teens, where youth learned about topics ranging from how to build the climate movement and communicate effectively, to the science of climate change
--Begun a 6-week summer youth activist program, for the teens, by the teens! The goal of this program is to build connections and confidence that drive youth to make a difference in their community and beyond
In the next 6 months, we want to:
--Mobilize thousands of students to plan actions at high schools and colleges in San Diego County as part of September 20th global climate walkout
--Create a workbook and coaching program to help Eco-Clubs be more effective
--Create an ongoing youth council to plan and coordinate youth activities
Your donation would go to:
--Youth climate activism internships
--Books, event venues, food, giveaways, school and art supplies, and more
--Youth travel/education scholarships

Any donation will make a difference. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me. With your help, we can continue to create real change in our community and beyond.
