The SpeakupSingout Youth Choir in Kilcock is an amazing group of teenagers who, led by Eimear Crehan, have created an amazing community of inclusiveness, support, creativity and talent. The group includes amazing young singers, musicians and songwriters. The choir are travelling to the Prague Young Bohemia Festival in March 2026, which is a festival set up for non-professional ensembles, choirs and young bands ages 8-26 from around the world. The festival will include parades, concerts, competitions, orchestras and a gala evening.

In 2018 SUSO fundraised to bring the youth choir to this festival and it was a musically formative and life changing experience for the young people who attended. They still report it as one of their core memories from their teenage years and we would love to do the same for these young people. Over the past few years this group have given lots of time and energy to fundraising for various charities and organisations, including helping to raise money for Kilcock Mens Shed, Pieta house, and last year saw them sing with the High Hopes Homeless choir in Christ Church to help raise well needed funds for that vital charity. They are well aware of the need to support important charities and want to continue to sing and grow as a group so that they can give more and more to the cultural landscape of Ireland. Any help that can be given to help them grow and learn as musicians would be greatly appreciated!
