Who I Am

My name is Edwin Ostos, and I am the Executive Director of Eclipsos Foundation. My journey started in poverty —I grew up in a home where even basic necessities like food were not always guaranteed. As a child, I worked cutting logs in the woods to pay for school, and I remember nights spent hunting with my dad and my dog just so my family could have a meal.

Today, I am grateful to have overcome those hardships, having moved to the United States and built a successful career as a software engineer and nonprofit leader. But I have never forgotten where I came from, and that is why I founded Eclipsos Foundation —to give back and help children who are facing the same struggles I once did.

Why I’m Raising Funds

Millions of children around the world go to bed hungry every night. Poverty steals their childhood, their health, and their future. Through Eclipsos Foundation, we are working to provide nutritious meals and educational opportunities for children living in extreme poverty.

Provide meals to children who don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
Fund food programs in schools to keep kids healthy and in class.
Give hope to families struggling to survive.

$52 can provide nutritious meals for a child for a month.
$100 helps provide one day’s worth of meals for an entire classroom of 25 to 30 children—including food, preparation, and delivery—ensuring they stay nourished and focused in school.
