My name is Jim "PK" Pilkauskas. I recently retired from the Army, where I spent 30 years serving as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division, the Ranger Regiment and US Special Operations Command. Since retiring, I've been focused on helping young men develop and grow into providers, protectors, and servant leaders in their families, churches, and in their communities.
Many young men are fatherless and struggling to find their identity without a male role model in their lives. My focus is on leadership development, physical / mental and spiritual resilience, self-discipline, life skills, better health choices, physical fitness, increased confidence, and teamwork - all in an outdoor education setting while keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. We also provide former military men the opportunity to volunteer as mentors, giving them a new sense of purpose and fulfillment many are searching for. I'd like to expand my outreach to sons of fallen warriors and emergency responders, but it will take a lot more resources than I can provide on my own.
