Imagine losing absolutely everything in the blink of an eye. That's the heartbreaking reality facing our dear neighbour whose flat was tragically destroyed by fire on Wednesday 30th April 2025. All of their cherished possessions – their furniture, essential household items, and all of their children's toys and belongings – were lost to the flames.

Watching the devastation was truly heartbreaking (photos below show the extent of the loss). But more devastating is seeing this young family, with two little ones depending on them, having to start completely from scratch.

They are safe, and that is the most important thing. But they now face the monumental task of rebuilding their lives and providing for their children after this horrific event.

We are starting this fund to help the family purchase the absolute essentials they need to begin again. Funds raised will go directly towards replacing:

* Clothing and shoes for the entire family, including the rapidly growing children

* Essential furniture and household items - the kitchen and everything in it was completely destroyed

* Much-needed items for the children, including toys and books to bring some comfort and normalcy back into their lives

Every single donation, no matter how small, will make a real, tangible difference in helping this young family get back on their feet and create a safe and stable home for their children once more.
