Young couples tiny house build
Donation protected
Hardworking, genuine and kind, young couple - Timmy (18) and Luana (18) are seeking a helping hand and generosity from their local community or anyone who connects to their story ♥️
Timmy is one of four siblings and lives in a single parent household. Last year, his long term girlfriend, Luana, moved in with the family, full time, following the tragic death of her mother.
Since the family welcomed Luana into their home, it has become a bit of a squeeze, and as they grow older and have left full time education, they’d really like/ need some independence.
Timmy and Luana both work multiple jobs and are very keen and eager to learn. However, with the growing housing crisis in Portugal, particularly in the Algarve, many locals cannot afford to live in the area when earning Portuguese wages (even with several jobs like Timmy and Luana).
The family have managed to raise enough themselves to purchase a second hand container for the young couple. But, to even start the renovation to make it habitable, they really need some extra help.
If you would like to help Timmy and Luana create a safe haven and home for themselves, anything from financial contributions to furniture donations or physical help would be hugely appreciated.
Times are tough for locals in the Algarve, and with practically no help from the government or local councils, it falls on our own communities and the generosity within them, to help each other and ESPECIALLY the new generation.
Thank you in advance. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
