Yorktown for Justice

Yorktown for Justice is a grassroots collective of neighbors in Yorktown, NY that care deeply about social justice and civil rights. We believe the fight for equity in our nation begins at home.  We have established three committees comprised of dedicated volunteers working for tangible changes within our local school districts, our local government, and our community event opportunities.  Funds raised by YFJ will go to purchase of merchandise to rep the cause with stickers, totes, apparel or signage. We will also use raised funds for event planning for community education and arts & cultural events.   Arts and cultural events create positive avenues for diversity and inclusion in ways that are accessible to all.  We would be so happy to enhance the offerings of our town by bringing diverse musical, artistic, and educational talent to our community.  We do intend to work in cooperation with local town government for lasting positive effects.
