Three Peaks. Two Charities. One Purpose.
A group of motivated colleagues from Barnardo’s Co-op 20 Services Partnership are taking on the Three Yorkshire Peaks Challenge: hiking Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in one day in order to raise vital funds for young people and communities.
Co-op and Barnardo’s are working together to raise £7 million to support positive futures for 1 million young people across the UK. We’re delivering in-person support in local communities that need it most. This hike is a personal challenge for all of us, but the cause behind it is far bigger.
We are also proud to be fundraising for BEAT Eating Disorders, the UK’s leading eating disorder charity. BEAT’s Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) focus this year is community, recognising the power of connection, understanding and support in recovery. Funds raised will help BEAT continue their life-saving work for individuals and families affected by eating disorders.
By donating, you’re not just supporting a hike, you’re supporting:
Young people to thrive and feel supported.
Communities to come together with compassion.
Access to help, hope and understanding for those affected by eating disorders.
Every step we take is for a purpose. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Funds will be split 50/50 between each charity after the completion of our Yorkshire Three Peaks hike.
Thank you for supporting us.
