Yorkshire 3 Peaks run for World Suicide Prevention Day

£2,080 raised of

I’m Kate, and I work within the Suicide Prevention Team in Lincolnshire.
At the beginning of September, I’ll be running the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to mark World Suicide Prevention Day (10th of September), raising funds for BroPro, a grassroots organisation supporting men’s mental health and suicide prevention locally.
Why This Matters
Too many men struggle in silence. BroPro is helping change that by running 16 local groups that provide safe, non judgemental spaces where men can talk openly, reduce isolation, and access peer support.
How Your Support Will Help
£2,000 would have an immediate impact. While some venues are free, others require rental, and BroPro also funds essential costs like refreshments, outreach, and volunteer training which is key to creating welcoming, supportive environments.
With your support, BroPro can:
Sustain existing groups for at least six more months.
Maintain safe, accessible spaces for early conversations.
Expand into new locations.
Invest in training to better respond to crisis and suicidal ideation.
The Impact
This funding will help save lives by reducing loneliness, building resilience, and offering hope to men who may feel they have nowhere to turn.
Thank You
This challenge will push me physically and mentally, but it’s nothing compared to what many face daily.
If you can donate or share, you’ll be helping make a real difference in our community.
Beneficiary Statement
