This October, I'm hiking 15 days to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) to raise money for YMCA Brighton.

As a trustee, I see the impact of their work every day. YMCA Brighton provides housing and support for people in need, helping them improve their wellbeing, gain skills and build confidence to live independent and fulfilling lives. With homelessness increasing across Brighton and the cost of living crisis hitting hard, they need support more than ever.

The trek won't be easy – altitude sickness, freezing temperatures, and some seriously steep climbs – but it's nothing compared to what people facing homelessness deal with every day. If you can donate, it would mean a lot.
