Hello, I’m Cassie.. i’ve made one of these for a different reason before. This time My son Noah who’s 5 was diagnosed back in November of 2022 with Bcell leukemia. We spent 2 weeks in the hospital a was sent home receiving outpatient chemo a medication at home. He was considered in maintenance treatment until March of 2024. He presented with back pain a leg pain. We underwent more treatment impatient until the end of April. May 9th-11th noah was set up on a clinical trial til June 4th. In that time he developed leukemia in his brain and sinus cavity a throughout this bone marrow.. So we did more chemo and this time radiation to his eye to shrink it. We then qualified for another clinical trial where we had to go the philadelphia for 3 days for a Tcell collection. A during that time Noah got so much worse. He was in so much pain he couldn’t walk, or eat or barely could sleep.. I immediately changed our flights to come home a day early because nope he’s not suffering nor being inpatient somewhere other then home… We came back an was Inpatient from mid june til labor day when we went back to Philadelphia for the Tcell infusion an was gone from September 1st to October 9th just in time for his birthday… When we went for his follow up he again was not cancer free an didn’t qualify for the Bone Marrow transplant. We then were impatient again to try another Tcell collection. Waited 3-4 weeks an the was re admitted an impatient during Thanksgiving! We pushed so hard to get discharged for Christmas and New Years and made it happen!! He was eligible for a transplant an we got readmitted January 17 2025.. He received his transplant an everything was going great. He responded well and like they wanted him too. We have been inpatient ever since. We got a spinal tap and Bone marrow biopsy to see where he stood after that. The first 3 test came back negative back for leukemia but the last one had a small trace of it.. In the meantime his cheek swelled up an begun to hurt him. So we scheduled an MRI. We got the results an it wasn’t good news. His leukemia was back an more aggressive an it’s beginning to eat away at his jaw an cheek bone. The amount of testing an transplants an trials Noah has gone thru has be a lot in him an us…We were informed yesterday that he is now Terminal. I plan on getting other opinions from Seattle, Chop, an St. Jude’s. Noah has since took a turn for the worse an we have no longer been able to do the fun things with him that we planned. Instead his father an I took off work indefinitely to spend what could be our sons final months with him.. Whatever noah wants or sees on tv an wants I’m buying it. We are okay for now on bills but it’s only gonna last for so long. We are gonna need some help for any upcoming future expenses an series of events that may happen. I appreciate everyone so much for helping us be able to make unforgettable memories and special moments an not have to worry about the financial burden.
