Bring My Son Home.

Hi my name is Melissa, and I’m facing an unexpected and challenging situation in Greece. My son and daughter went to visit family in Greece for their summer holiday on their return journey they were separated at the airport and my son was detained by police as a warrant had been served by the Greek MOD for my son to complete his national service. My son is a British/Canadian citizen and NOT a Greek citizen and has been called up as he was simply born there, apparently the law changed early this year. He has never received any notification from the Greek MOD to state this new change and has been detained in Greece until it can be sorted. The situation is serious and he needs to have the proper legal representation to ensure a fair outcome, I can not go into the full details as this may hinder the case.

As my son suffers with an Autoimmune Disease , Asperger’s and ADHD this situation has been extremely overwhelming for him, he doesn’t understand or speak the language and he can’t get his head around the situation.
