Welina (Welcome), to the person reading our story.

Aloha my name is Ci'jon, single mother of 3 beautiful blessings.

Myself and my oldest daughter are originally from the westside of Oahu and my two younger kids are born on the Big Island. We moved to Lahaina, Maui 9 months before the fire took place.

On August 8th our Lahaina community took a big impact from the fire. We, amongst many others, lost our home from this tragic event. The funds that are donated will be to help my kids and I rebuild our lives once again, and please don't feel the need or pressure of having to donate financially. A simple prayer for my Ohana and Lahaina will be greatly appreciated.

My story: Started off as a normal day, just with high winds. My oldest; Teliyah (12), was at home caring for her younger sibling; Kailani (4) and Tyde (2), being that public school had cancelled for that day. As the day went on we were not prepared nor did we expect that day to turn out to be such a devastation. Phone services were down starting roughly around 11am, so there was no way to make contact to any loved ones including my children. I didn't make contact with my children and my father until 2AM the following day.

My neighbors are my kids guardian angels. They rescued my kids and took them to safety. Such selfless individuals who now I call Ohana (family). No words, nor amount of money can express my gratitude I have for them. They deserve any and every blessing they can get.
