Help me keep my family together
My name is Ana, I moved from the tropical paradise of Puerto Rico to Palestine in 1997. I didn’t realize at the time that I was giving up my freedom of mobility in moving here—The occupation is in charge of tthe population registry and did not grant me a Palestinian ID. Renewing visas was too expensive. This means that if I ever try to cross a checkpoint, I will be separated from my 6 children who are Palestinian.
When I lost my beloved husband--who was the sole provider of our family--to a sudden heart attack I was left with limited income and mobility to bring up my children on my own. Nevertheless, I have made my life in Palestine work.
Now trying to normalize /legalise my residency in Palestine, with the help of donations I put lawyers to work on my case which went to court on december 6th 2020. I was offered an agreement to leave the country and pay a 30,000 ISL ( equal to 9,500USD) bond upon reentry as a warranty that I will not overstay my new visa which the occupation authorities will renew periodically.
This is where I need your help.... I was given until the 1st of February to leave and need to come up with the boind so that I can return to my children, but, my lawyer explained that If I don’t the occupation authorities will issue a deportation order against me.I have pledges of people willing to help with almost 12,000 ISL (equal to 4,000 USD) that amount is a 1/3 of the 30,000 ISL. اسمي آنا انتقلت من الجنة الكاريبية بورتوريكو الي فلسطين عام 1997. لم اكن اعلم حينها أنني بقدومي إلى هنا قد تخليت عن حريتي في الحركة والتنقل.
الاحتلال الإسرائيلي هو المسؤول عن تسجيل السكان ولم يمنحوني الهوية الفلسطينية وكانت عملية تجديد الفيزا مكلفة جدا. هذا يعني أنني في حال توقفت على إحدى الحواجز ف أنني سوف أُرحّل وأُبعَد عن أولادي ال 6 الذين يمتلكون الهوية الفلسطينية جميعا.
عندما فقدت زوجي العزيز ؛ الذي كان العائل والسند الوحيد لعائلتنا ,اثر جلطة قلبية فجائية, وجدت نفسي ذات دخل محدود نتيجة عدم قدرتي على التنقل لأقتات رزق اطفالي واربيهم بمفردي. على الرغم من ذلك إلا أنني وجدت طريقي وصنعت لنفسي حياة في فلسطين.
الآن أحاول أن اثبّت هنا قانونيا ويصبح لدي هوية بمساعدة التبرعات وقد عينت محاميين ليعملوا على قضيتي التي وصلت المحكمة بتاريخ 6 ديسمبر 2020. عرضت عليا صفقة بحيث أغادر فلسطين وادفع كفالة بمقدار 30 ألف شيكل عند عودتي كضمان أنني لن امكث في البلد أكثر مما تسمح لي الفيزا الجديدة التي ستمنحني إياها سلطات الاحتلال .
وهنا احتاج لمساعدتكم.... لقد اعطوني موعد أقصاه الأول من فبراير لمغادرة البلاد ويجب أن أحصل على مال الكفالة حتى اتمكن من العودة إلى اطفالي حيث وضح لي المحامي انني في حال لم اتمكن من جمع المبلغ المطلوب فإن سلطات الاحتلال ستصدر أمر ترحيل ضدي.
هنالك الكثير من الناس الذين بدأوا فعلا بمساعدتي وانا واولادي ممنونين لهم حقا, وقد استطعنا جمع مبلغ 12 الف شيكل وهو ما يشكل ثلث المبلغ الكلي المطلوب (30 الف شيكل) بإمكانكم مساعدتي أيضا من خلال التبرع أو مشاركة قصتي.
