Hi Everyone,

The Penney family (Heather, Nelson, and their two children) recently experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home, which was lovingly built by Nelson’s grandfather, and all of their belongings. We are grateful that the entire family was able to get out safely and that they are currently staying with close family friends. While firefighters were able to keep the flames from consuming the entire structure, the home and nearly all personal items were lost or damaged beyond repair.

When visiting this amazing family, you would never know the hardship they are facing, as they remain their kind, calm, and positive selves. As many of you know, they are not the type to ask for help, but during this difficult time, many people have reached out wanting to support them. Due to their limited storage and many uncertainties ahead, we feel that a GoFundMe is the most helpful way to assist the family as they work to get back on their feet and replace essentials for their children, including books, Legos, clothes, and cherished stuffed animals.
