Hi, my name is Nathan spence and I’m fundraising for St Andrews hospice. Around 2 years ago my mum was diagnosed with terminal bone mets. After multiple operations and a difficult time through covid, my mum was admitted to St Andrews hospice. The care that my mum received was second to none and it truly was a safe space for her and the whole family during such a difficult time. My mum eventually returned back home and spent the last few months of her life in our home. With me being a second year apprentice at the time caring for my mum every day was a hard task. However the hospice continued to fully support me from home, delivering meals and providing us with access to carers. I truly don’t know how I would’ve coped without this support. Hence why I am raising funds for such a brilliant charity. My friends and I will be climbing goat fell, a mountain on the Isle of Arran. My mum always referred to this as her happy place. Any donation great or small is hugely appreciated. Thank you
