Yemen: Ramadan annual donations

Salam brothers and sisters,

I hope you are all having a great Ramadan and making the best of these precious moments.

I am Ashwak Alabdi, Yemeni living in the UK.

For the last 4 years I have been raising money in Ramadan to send back to Yemen to a trusted person, Ibrahim, who distributes it around the those desperately in need wheather that’s water, food or medical. Yemen is one of the worlds largest humanitarian crisis and if we can help a few families it can make a little bit of a difference.

For the past 4 years I have only done this with close friend and family; and each year we always manage beat our goal. Alhamdulilah Last year we raised £1156 and I can’t thank you enough for generous donations! Wallah thank you so much and it means so much to me! It’s nice actually knowing where 100% of your money went (I know this platform takes a fee which I will be paying myself to ensure that every penny you donate goes to charity) this year I’m hoping to reach that target and more to inshallah be able to help more families this year. so I’ve decided to go on a bigger Platform for us to be able to raise as much as possible before the end of Ramadan.

As it’s become a tradition, this is your yearly message, to those new to this, please don’t feel like your obliged to donate much; wallah £1 can make such a difference so please donate what you can and if your not able to donate I would appreciate it if you could share this to your friends and family. It will put a smile on someone’s face this Ramadan and for Eid.
