Yemen Could be Worst Famine in 100 Years

The United Nations is warning that 13 million people in Yemen are facing starvation. UN added it could become "the worst famine in the world in 100 years". Yemen's civil war began 5 years ago, At least 17,500 people have been killed and injured since 2015 in the conflict and millions are displaced According to the Yemen Data Project. A quarter of all civilians killed in air raids were women and children. More than 20 million people in Yemen are experiencing food insecurity; 10 million of them are at risk of famine. However, the situation get worse with the recent floods and Covid 19.
We are truly blessed for knowing that we have roof over heads or not worrying about where our next meal would come from. It is our responsibility as a fellow human beings to help each other especially for those in need. By the will of Almighty Allah and people of kheir we will be delivering Ramadan food packages. As prices have gone up since last year, each food package now costs £20 and includes:
1 - Five kilo bag of rice
2 - Five kilos of sugar
3 - Five kilos of wheat
4 - Large cooking oil
5 - Pack of dates
