Support Ashley's Battle Against Breast Cancer
Spende geschützt
Dear beautiful souls,
Thanks to your incredible generosity, I reached my original GoFundMe goal—something I could have never imagined when I first opened my heart and shared this journey. Every dollar, every note, every gesture has carried me through these last few months of chemo and uncertainty with more love than I thought possible. Truly—you’ve been part of my medicine.
Now, I’m preparing for the next phase: surgery and recovery. As with many cancer journeys, the road continues to unfold, and with it, new medical costs. I’m now facing significant out-of-pocket surgical expenses, as well as the post-op healing time that will further impact my ability to work and sustain my business.
Because of this, I’m humbly increasing the fundraising goal. I want to continue to walk this path with as much presence, care, and strength as I can—and every bit of support helps me keep my focus on healing instead of finances.
If you feel moved to share this page again, send a prayer, or offer support in any way, please know it means the world to me. And if you’d like a thank-you note (or some snail mail magic), just send me your address. I’ve been writing my way through this with love in every envelope.
From chemo to surgery, from grief to grit—this community has shown me the true meaning of being held. Thank you for being my circle of care. You are a part of this healing story.
With deep love and endless gratitude,
Ashley

We all have that one friend. You know the one I’m talking about: the friend who is the joy and the magic and the light in every room she enters. The friend who has a strange and simple wisdom that feels both ancient and innocent all at once. The friend whose laughter pierces you and warms you in the deepest chambers of your heart. The friend who is kind and generous, who meets you exactly where you are, and can hold space for you with a heartfelt gaze.
The friend you can’t lose.
This friend—our friend, our Ashley—has breast cancer, and the warm, beating chest that she so willingly offers as a resting place to everyone around her is in need of a little love itself.
Ashley, who should be planning her dream barefoot and candlelit wedding, has gone from shopping for wedding dresses to consulting surgeons, doctors, and specialists—all the while teaching us how to live with grace and acceptance as we watch her navigate the next steps of her journey.
Cancer can drain all the life from you, along with every ounce of your joy, but not for our Ashley. Even as she enters into her hardest days, she remains a beacon for all of us. A teacher by trade and by heart, Ashley always shows us, through her example, how to embody a joi de vivre, delighting in life and showing us back to the way of beauty and simplicity over and over again. And now, we want to ensure that she can focus on her healing, her joy, and her light—not the financial burden that comes with this chapter.
Help us take care of our friend. Help us return the favor to her and keep her safe and held as she navigates the long night ahead of her.
In a very dark world, help us take care of our light.
And may any help you offer be returned to you tenfold in the form and the time when you need it most.
