Yearly running costs for Sheffield Hospital Radio

Did you know it costs us around £4,000 a year to run Sheffield Hospital Radio and we are raising funds to help cover these costs. The station must pay for things like internet connection, PRS/PPL music licencing, the studio music playout software licence, public liability insurance, buildings and content insurance, equipment replacement when required, HBA subscription, Radio News Hub subscription, website and phone costs.

Our only source of income is from the kind generosity of public donations and sponsorship. All our members work voluntarily and give their time for free.
