More information about Samaritans Ireland: Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide. We work to achieve this by alleviating emotional distress and reducing the incidence of suicidal feelings and suicidal behaviour.

We provide a 24-hour helpline service for people who are in distress, lonely, struggling to cope & who are in need of emotional support. Volunteers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on the freephone helpline number 116 123.
