Code in the Schools empowers Baltimore City youth to thrive in the 21st century economy by expanding access to computer science education and building pathways from schools to jobs and higher education. By focusing on youth historically excluded in technology fields, we work to eliminate structural barriers and inequities in education and industry, and bring their badly needed creativity and insight to technology solutions.

 In early December we’ll move to a badly needed larger space in the old Odell’s nightclub on North Ave.  Born out of Odell’s legacy, luminaries like Blaqstarr, K-Swift, Mighty Mark, and Miss Tony went on to influence the world just as our students, growing up in the same area, are shaping the next generation of technology.
