Year 12 charity skydive
Donation protected
Please help us by donating so we can make a difference!
We are all sixth form students from Gateshead preparing for a charity week in our school. It was our job to organise events in and outside of school that we think would raise the most money for charity. We have all decided that Skydiving would be a great way to raise money as it puts all of us outside of our comfort zone. Our group consists of Jack Crichton, Tom Peck, Harvey Johnson, Benji Pervis and Evan Johnson.
This year, our school has chosen 2 charities to raise money for:
Megans rose for hope and Metabolic Support UK.
Megan was a student at our school that got diagnosed with cancer whilst in her second year at sixth form. She then sadly passed away at the age of 19 years old. Her family then set up this charity in remembrance of her. The charity raises awareness and creates a network of support for young people ages 11-25 that have been diagnosed with cancer.
AND
Metabolic Support UK
This charity has been supporting people living with inherited metabolic conditions and their communities since 1981. They support over 500 conditions and offer this support to 195 countries. They are currently giving support to over 20,000 people and they are always trying to add to this total with the help from you!
Thank you in advance for your contribution, It means a lot to all of us!
