--Renovation of female toilets and wudhu area --

Asalamu alaykum dear brothers and sisters As you are aware, we renovated the male toilets a couple of months ago, and it has been a massive success. Our sisters have struggled with the wudhu and toilet usage area, so the masjid decided to renovate their place for them. We are now missing £9,800 from our target to complete the job, we kindly ask for your donations. The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." (Muslim) Masjid Al furqan has many services which cater to our sisters, from the sister's circle that happens on Friday to the regular lessons; since the number of sisters has increased there has been great need for them to have good facilities. The cost will cover but not be limited to the following: To dismantle the current setup. new design for the toilets. To widen the toilets and provide a new water-resistant tiling for the floor. Walls across the area will be tiled. Wudhu area will be raised to level it up, and the floor will be retiled. new drainage system . and many more. Please donate generously and remember Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace, said, “Protect yourself from hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
