Yasser and his family of 30

My name is Rima Alweny and I am raising funds for Yasser Fayek who is 28 years old and his big beautiful family of 30 which are of adults and children through this unimaginable time.

This cause is incredibly important to me because they have reached out to me during this painful crises unable to buy food for the family! Whether it’s helping a loved one in need, supporting a dream I’ve worked hard to build, or overcoming an unexpected challenge, I’m reaching out for support because I can’t do it alone.

The funds raised will be used for every day items such as food, baby formula, clothing and medicine. Every dollar will go directly towards Yasser’s large family of 30 members, and I’ll be transparent every step of the way.

Assalamualaikum and Hello Everyone,

I am Yasser Fayek, 28 years old from Gaza, Palestine. Me and my family are humbly asking for your help to survive this genocide and hopefully rebuild back our life after the war end.

My big family consists of about 30 family members, with 2 elderly parents, 5 adults and childrens.

We are once a thriving family that supports each other, but when the war started and again restarted after the recent ceasefire, leaving us displaced as a family, without a home and source of income.

With the borders closed and besieged, the cost of living in the Gaza right now is very high as prices of everything has skyrocketed as goods are extremely limited. The cost of a bag of sugar is 5 times the price, in a place where people have nothing. People are paying $75 for a carton of milk and paying with their blood for a bag of flour.

In the picture, is our old house that got destroyed by Israeli airstrike (the rubble behind the tent).

The funds will be used as follows:

1. It will be used to rebuild back our old home (for about 30 family members)

2. It will be used for foods, clothes, medicines, everything that is needed while the war is still ongoing.

3. It will be used for the living expenses while we rebuild back our lives and hopefully some for the childrens education.
