إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
Life is but a fleeting moment, a delicate breath between the present and the hereafter. Just weeks ago, Yasin Mahmood was a happy, healthy father, full of life and love for his two beautiful children. In what felt like the blink of an eye, illness took hold, and he was taken from us at just 34 years old. His sudden passing is a stark reminder of how fragile our time in this world truly is.
In Islam, we are reminded that our deeds have far-reaching effects, even after our departure from this world. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim). To honor Yasin’s legacy, we encourage you to engage in Sadaqah Jariyah, which represents acts of charity that bring lasting benefits.
We are inviting you to contribute to a Sadaqah Jariyah project in his name. Our aim is to build a Jamia Masjid under Yasin’s name in a poor remote area of Pakistan that will serve approximately 250-300 worshippers. Below is the cost breakdown we are aiming to achieve:
- **Jamia Masjid **: £8,500
- **Water Tanks**: £250 each (targeting 6 tanks)
Your generous contributions will not only keep Yasin’s memory alive but will also establish a lasting source of benefit for many in the community. May Allah reward your kindness and allow Yasin’s legacy to flourish through our charitable actions in his honor.
As Yasin had the privilege of passing away in the holy month of Ramadan, the rewards for giving are magnified. This is a special opportunity to contribute, as Allah's mercy and blessings are abundant during this month.
Thank you for your compassion and support in this noble cause. May Allah bless you, and may the legacy of Yasin continue to thrive through his children and the good we do in his name.
JazakAllah
