Yanuel Rios Medical & Service Expenses

Hello everyone, let me start by saying I am an extremely private person with my life. I take great pride in separating my family life from my social life and doing everything I can for those I love, unfortunately this is something my family cannot financially support ourselves on such short notice. It is with great sadness I’m writing this regarding the passing of my baby brother, Yanuel Rios.

So, here's a little bit about Yanuel and his life: he was born with Hydrocephalus, basically a condition where he has excess fluid in his brain that stunted his growth from birth. Yanuel has gone through so many procedures, more than most people will ever encounter in a lifetime, always pulling through and always being one of the happiest kids around. Yanuel always had a smile on his face, loved being carried around, and even though he was nonverbal, he always had a way of expressing how much he loved people. I can't remember a time he wasn't laughing, leaning in for hugs and kisses, or wrapping his arms around my body like a monkey so that I can hold him up. Unfortunately, for the past 8 months his health has been rapidly declining. He's been in and out of the hospital non-stop and fighting battles with everything from COVID to Seizures. Over the past few days, Yanuel's behavior had changed dramatically - no longer was he the happy boy we knew and love; he was quiet, extremely still and non-responsive. My mom rushed him to the hospital and has been there for the past 48hrs by his side praying to God he's okay and got the unfortunate news that he had gone through 2 strokes which resulted in him being brain dead. My mom made the extremely difficult decision that Yanuel has had enough, and does not deserve to suffer any longer with his pain. His body was lifeless and unresponsive, seeing it makes me teary eye'd and I myself am not an emotional person..

My mother has done her very best to provide for him during his life, always prioritizing his well-being and health even over her job - losing many of jobs as a result of this. She dropped everything - family, friends, etc. to move to Florida to start a better life and get him the care he needs, as she understood that the best doctors for his care are in Florida. Her life revolved around her kids because that's the type of mother she is, the type to put her kids first.

I am asking anyone to please help me in providing my mom some financial support as she tries to live with the unfathomable thought of losing her baby boy and pay for the cost of his funeral/cremation services and any underlying medical expenses that come her way. Thank you anyone who has read thus' far, Rest In Peace Yanuel Rios, our little Angel.
